Global Chums Mentoring Scheme
As an international student from India flying out to the UK for the first time, I was scared and had a lot of doubts and questions in my mind about how my life was going to be as a student at the University. This global chums mentors program helped me in my initial couple of months to learn and understand many things not just about the living in Exeter, but also about the support and guidance that is provided each step of the way. My mentor has been really kind and patient with the questions I’ve had and helped me immensely. She even routed me to the correct point of contacts within the Uni for several queries and went out of her way to make sure I feel comfortable attending events especially organized by Uni for new students.
