Spring Vacation 2025 on Cornwall Campuses
Are you staying on campus in Cornwall over the Spring vacation? If so, you may find the below information on opening times, services and events, available within the University, helpful.
There are also a number of events organised over the Spring break. Why not book onto a day trip to Padstow , spend an afternoon crafting with new friends or join one of the many drop in sessions.
The library will remain OPEN 24/7 over the Spring vacation.
Library staff will be available at 9-5 on weekdays (excluding bank holidays).

The Multifaith Chaplaincy
- The Penryn Chaplaincy will be open Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00
- The Chaplaincy room in the Fox Building at Falmouth campus will be open in line with Fox Building opening hours
- The Muslim Prayer Room on Penryn Campus will remain open 24/7 all week, with access out-of-hours via the entrance beside the Chapel Lecture Theatre.

During the Spring vacation the career zone will be available online. You will be able to contact them between 10:00 and 15:00 Monday to Friday.
Virtual one to one appointments will be available with their friendly and experienced staff, plus the team will also be able to live chat with you via the career zone website, take your phone calls and answer your emails.
You can access Handshake to search for jobs and opportunities, My Career Zone Digital for instant CV reviews, interview practice and skills development, plus our website for career research and planning. Career Zone will be closed for the bank holidays on Friday 18 April and Monday 21 April.

For the Info Point (in-person enquiries) and phone line (01326 371800) we will be returning to out of term-time hours until 28th April and as per the timeline below:
- Until 28 March (in term-time - Mon-Fri): 0845-1700
- 31 March – 25 April (Out of term-time - Mon-Fri - except Good Friday 18th April and Bank Holiday Monday 21 April when the Info Point will be closed): 0900-1700
- 28 April until 13 June (in term-time - Mon-Fri – except Monday 05 and 26 May Bank Holidays when the Info Point is closed): 0845-1700
- From 16th June (Out of term-time - Mon-Fri): 0900-1700
During the closure days, students can still email info.penryn@ex.ac.uk or pernryn.mitigation@ex.ac.uk – all emails will be retained and attended to during the next working day.
Spring vacation opening times are 10:00-16:00. Any activities taking place over this time can be found on the SU events page.

Togetherall online support
Togetherall is a 24/7 online digital mental health support service that is completely anonymous, so you can express yourself freely and openly. Professionally trained Wall Guides monitor the community to ensure the safety and anonymity of all members. You also have access to tailored self-help courses covering topics such as anxiety, sleep, weight management, depression and more. Log in using your University email at Togetherall.com

You could also try the online mental health programme Silvercloud which is free for Uni students.
