Summer 2024 in Cornwall
Are you staying on campus in Cornwall over the Summer break? If so, you can find information about opening times, services and events below.
Normal service will continue.
The Multifaith Chaplaincy on the Penryn Campus will remain open Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00. Our volunteer chaplains will take a break over the summer, but will be around on some days. People can continue to contact chaplaincy@fxplus.ac.uk or visit us in person if they have any questions or would value support.
During the summer holidays the Career Zone will be available online and in person on the Ground Floor of the Exchange building:
• You will be able to contact them online between 10:00 and 15:00 Monday to Friday.
• Their in-person opening hours will be 12:00 - 16:00 Tuesday to Thursday.
• The Career Zone will be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 26 August.
One to one appointments will be available with their friendly and experienced staff, plus the team will also be able to live chat with you via the Career Zone website, take your phone calls and answer your emails.

The Compass Helpdesk out of term-time hours commence 17 June. We will be available Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00.

During the closure periods, students can still email info.penryn@ex.ac.uk or pernryn.mitigation@ex.ac.uk – all emails will be retained and attended to during the next working day.
Georgia’s Voice and ManDown continue throughout the Summer. All of the others break for the summer and will restart in October.

The Digital Hub will be open in person Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9-5 throughout June, July and August with online bookings 9:00-17:00 every day. The Digital Hub SharePoint also provides a wide range of guides on the university’s digital tools.
The Sports Centre opening times will remain unchanged:
• Mon-Fri – 06:30-22:00
• Sat / Sun & late Aug bank holiday – 08:30-18:00.

IT Services are open throughout the summer on our regular core support hours which are 08:45-17:15 Mon to Fri.
