Our wellbeing specialists
Our wellbeing specialists are part of the Student Support team. The Student Support team is made up of:
- Support & Wellbeing (our wellbeing specialists – see below)
- The Compass (our student information service)
- Accessibility and Inclusion (supporting students with disabilities, long term health conditions, autism and specific learning differences (dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD)
- Multifaith chaplaincy (supporting students with or without a faith)
Our wellbeing specialists are here to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing, so you can make the most of student life and your studies. This could be listening to worries about money, your course, or relationships at a drop-in appointment. Signposting to local support services and wellbeing resources or working with you to create an ongoing plan to help you better manage your mental health. The team is made up of skilled advisors, therapists, counsellors and mental health professionals and you will be matched with the support that is most suited to you.
Whatever you’re going through, the best place to start is with our wellbeing specialists. You don’t need to be sure about what help you need, our team can listen to you and guide you towards the best solution.

We offer weekday drop-in appointments between 10:00 and 15:00 in-person or online/telephone.
