If you had exam adjustments at school, they don’t transfer automatically over to Uni. Those could include:

  • Using a laptop
  • Extra time
  • Taking your exam in a smaller room
  • Having someone write for you

You need to speak to us if you want to put adjustments in place or if you have a disability and need adjustments (which includes mental and physical health conditions, specific learning difficulties and other neurodivergence). We can then create an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for you. Read more about exam adjustments and Individual Learning Plans.

A discussion with a member of the Wellbeing Services team can also help you to keep in mind your own limits, give you information on how to signpost the person to support and how to ensure you’re also looking after yourself.
