The houses and flats in the St. David's complex form a small student village with 203 single standard bedrooms. This residence is available to both undergraduates and postgraduates, but these student groups won't be mixed and will be housed in separate flats and/or blocks.
Students share a kitchen/diner and there are one or two bathroom/shower rooms (either shower cubicle or shower over bath) available within the house/flat dependent on the flat size. A washbasin is available in each room. Each of the houses has 6 residents, whilst the flats have between 4 to 6 residents.
The discounted Stagecoach number 4 bus route connects St David's with the Streatham and St Luke's campuses.

Room size
Rooms at St David's are approximately 11.3m2 (2470mm x 4580mm).
These measurements are a guide only. In some residences room sizes vary considerably.
Bed size
All rooms have single beds (three feet wide). The height of the storage space under the bed is a minimum of 26cm.
All bedrooms in St. David's have the following:
- Bed (see 'Room and bed sizes' tab above for more details), wardrobe, desk and chair.
- Bookshelves, desk lamp or built-in lighting, pinboard, full length mirror and waste bin.
- Washbasin
- High speed wired and wireless network/internet is available from Glide Student. You will need to register online to receive access.
- Aerial socket in bedrooms or students can use a laptop or desktop to watch TV. Please note you will still need a TV Licence to watch live TV or BBC iPlayer from any device.

The shared kitchens at St David's have a cooker with oven, grill and ceramic/halogen or electric plate hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, dining table, chairs, ironing board and iron, and waste bins.
The quantity of items provided depends on the size of the flat. You will need to provide pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

I enjoyed the fact that although my accommodation was not on campus, it was still very central and in short walking distance to everything important; such as town, the University and the train station.

This accommodation feels like it has a closely knit community of people, all from different backgrounds, that are all happy to hang out and have fun together. Moving countries is a daunting experience, but my time at St David’s and the friends I made here during my first year, have made this major change in my life a bit easier.
