Sharjah Scholarships

This scholarship is available for all first year MArabic, BA Middle East Studies and BA Arabic & Politics students who register by 31st October 2024 at the very latest.  The scholarship will continue to be awarded throughout years 2, 3 and 4 provided you remain successfully registered on your programme of study.

Students on combined honours modern language courses involving Arabic will also receive 50% (£750) of this award in years 1, 3 and 4 and the full amount (£1,500) in year 2 (spent in an Arabic-speaking country).
This scholarship will be awarded to eligible candidates automatically following completion of the registration process by the end of Week 4 in Term 1.

In the event that you withdraw or interrupt your studies post enrolment, or transfer onto a non-qualifying programme, then the University Finance regulations at that date will apply as regards any repayment or other requirements: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/students/finance/studentfinanceregulations/.

How to apply

In order to receive this award you need only register as a student at the University of Exeter on any of the following programmes:
MArabic
BA Middle East Studies
BA Arabic & Politics
A combined honours programme including Arabic (starting in September 2024).
Please note, you cannot receive more than one scholarship from the University of Exeter; if you are eligible for multiple scholarships you will be awarded whichever scholarship has the higher value.
