Makerspaces
The University of Exeter has a dynamic ecosystem of hands-on creative, collaborative spaces for students, staff and partners to ideate, prototype and make their ideas tangible. From ideation & experimentation through to design & production, these spaces are available for you to iterate and develop your project ideas. This ranges from using lo-fi hand-making techniques through to more complex production and manufacturing processes.
If you are a student looking for some advice on where to begin with your project, you can head over to the CQ on Wednesday afternoons (or Thursday afternoons in Term 3) from 1.30pm-4.30pm for a dedicated drop-in session to discuss your ideas, find out more about the support and equipment available to get started on your idea.
