Our students from Algeria
What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?
The depth of knowledge and the skills which I could develop such as critical thinking and critical reflection.
What has been the highlight of your time at Exeter?
I would say the people I met here and the relationships we forged all together. It is important to have a second family at university who supports you and is there for you when sometimes things do not go your way.
Also, I was the class representative of my programme, and I won an award of the exceptional contribution to the academic experience. It means a lot to me as it boosted my self-esteem and self-confidence as well as this award pushed me to work harder and harder to achieve great things in the future!
What advice would you give to current and future students?
Don't be afraid to speak English, embrace the language and life in the UK as it is quite astonishing to do a degree in a foreign language, so be proud of whatever you do.
Where do you work now you have left the University?
I work in London at the prestigious drama school, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
What will you miss the most about University?
The stunning campuses, the professors, the students, the air, the grass, the libraries...everything!
What advice would you give to current and future students?
Embrace every opportunity you can create and be presented to you. It will take you places.
