I chose to study at Exeter because it is a beautiful city with pleasant weather and it is very safe to live here. I also found two very nice PhD supervisors at the University. The vibe on campus is friendly and lively, and I am amazed by how beautiful our St Luke’s campus is. It is small but beautiful with history. I organise a PhD social group, and we meet once in a while for coffee breaks. The group members are female PhDs from various disciplines. I also joined the Postgraduate Society and enjoy their events a lot.
My typical day would be working at my desk at the PhD office space, communicating with my peers at X-Keys during the lunch break, attending modules on research (if there’s any on the day), and playing badminton with friends before heading back home.
