Having visited other British cities, I must admit that Exeter lives up to its reputation as the safest city in the UK. The local residents are very friendly, which makes studying abroad a much happier experience. It is also a beautiful environment with good transport links, and the weather is sunny compared to most UK cities, which is conducive to the fact that we can enjoy studying and living here. Academically, the teachers are enthusiastic and conscientious, which also gives me a great sense of security and you don't hesitate to ask them for help when you feel lost!
The best thing about living in Exeter is that it's safe and friendly. Part of the culture that really struck me was the relatively relaxed attitude to life. Here people always say, don't worry, enjoy the moment. But in my country people are often under so much pressure, so much stress, that it's hard to feel happy about life. My year here has also relatively changed my tendency to be anxious, and I think that's the best thing that could have happened.
