Why did you decide that Exeter was the best place to study?
When looking at universities across the UK, Exeter really stood out to me as not only do they have an incredible and accredited Business School, but they are also really supportive of co-curricular/sport activities. Upon visiting the university, I was intrigued by the lecturers’ passion for the course, therefore all these reasons made me apply to Exeter and I’m incredibly happy I did.
Describe your typical day at Exeter
Gym, grab a coffee in town, lectures, library and then socialising with friends.
What are the best aspects of studying within your department?
The lecturers really made the topics interesting, and the resources really helped me extend my understanding in the field.
How would you describe the vibe on campus?
Very friendly with amazing scenery.
What activities are you taking part in?
EURFC, Business and Finance Society, Exeter’s Entrepreneurs’ Society
What skills are you gaining from this experience, will this help you in your choice if career?
I have learned valuable socialising and relationship skills from being in societies and group work during my time here. These will be useful for me in my future career in the business world.
What’s the best thing about living in Exeter?
The scenery that the Streatham campus provides. And being close to Cornwall made it easy for me to explore the beauties of the southwest.
Would you recommend Exeter to your friends?
Definitely. It’s been the best three years of my life and I won’t forget the memories I’ve made here.
Was there anything about your experiences at Exeter that surprised you?
The most important surprise from being at Exeter is how welcoming every society is, and upon joining them I really felt valued.
What advice would you give students planning on coming to the University of Exeter?
Do it, it will be the best three years of your academic life.
