What's on?

We've organised a range of events and activities to help you decide if you'd like to study with us. We're holding visit days at our campuses and we have lots of content online to help you learn more about your what it's like being a student with us.   

Join us on campus to find out more about your subject and feel for yourself what makes our locations so special. These visits will give you the opportunity to hear from academics and current students, take tours of our campuses and allow you to find out more about the course you have an offer for. We will be running visits through March on the following dates:  

Saturday 1st March 2025 - Streatham Campus  

Saturday 8th March 2025 - Penryn Campus  

Saturday 15th March 2025 - Streatham Campus  

Saturday 22nd March 2025 – Penryn Campus and Streatham Campus and St Luke's Campus 

Saturday 29th March 2025 - Streatham Campus and St Luke's Campus 

Not all of our subjects will be running on every date. All Offer-Holders will receive a link to the booking form once they have received an offer which will outline which dates and locations their course will be represented on.

Wondering where a University of Exeter degree could take you? Join us forCareers Insight Week, running from Monday 31st March to Thursday 3rd April 2025. 

This is your opportunity to hear from successful Exeter graduates as they share their career journeys, from life as a student to their roles in various industries. In these live online Q&A panels, alumni will offer insights into their career paths, give practical advice, and discuss how their time at Exeter helped shape their futures. 

Each evening, panels will focus on different subject areas, with alumni from across a broad range of degree programmes. You’ll also have the chance to ask the alumni panellists questions, giving you a well-rounded perspective on life beyond university.

Do you have a long-term health condition or disability? Hear from current students about how the University of Exeter has supported them through their academic journeys and how they have overcome any personal challenges along the way.

Managing your cost of living at the University of Exeter 

Whether you're thinking about moving to university, or staying at home whilst studying, come and hear from current University of Exeter student's on how the affordability of university affected their decision to study with Exeter, as well as how it affects their day to day. 

Thursday 3rd April 

Studying as a person of colour at the University of Exeter  

Wondering what it is like to study at the University of Exeter as a person of colour? We talk to current students about their experiences both on and off our campuses as well as sharing thoughts on what being an anti-racist university means to our community.

Studying as a neurodiverse student at the University of Exeter  

Identify as neurodiverse and want to know how we can support you at university? Come along to hear from current students about their own lived experiences and the different types of support on offer if you study at Exeter. 

Thursday 8th May 

Balancing Coursework and Life: Looking After your Mental Health while Studying at the University of Exeter 

Worried about balancing academic content and looking after yourself whilst studying at university? Current students at the University of Exeter share their experiences of managing the highs and lows in their own mental health.

Studying as an LGBTQ+ student at the University of Exeter 

University is a place where you should feel comfortable to express yourself and feel safe doing so. Hear from LGBTQ+ students on what it is like to be queer at the University of Exeter, and the networks that are available.

Making Friends and Creating Support Networks at the University of Exeter 

There are so many opportunities to make friends and create your own support networks at university. In this session we delve into the different ways to do this; from societies, to coming together through faith and even academic networking.
