Disclosure and Barring Service
(formerly Criminal Records Bureau)
For some postgraduate programmes (primarily those in the Graduate School of Education) we ask our applicants for an advanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, known as an Enhanced DBS check. If you are going to be working with children or other vulnerable groups you may be asked to supply information on any criminal convictions. Details will be sent to you on how to fulfil this.
