Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What is a Campus Tour and how can I attend one?

We run regular guided campus tours during term time, where our Student Ambassadors will guide you around the campus showing you what life is like here, using their first-hand experience of studying at the University of Exeter.

From key study areas, sports facilities and our main university buildings, to places to socialise and relax; our Student Ambassadors can guide you around, welcoming questions as you tour the campus.

The tour dates are published on the website about a month beforehand. We have a more limited number of tours during the vacation periods, but we always try to accommodate you where possible, so do enquire if you have a specific date you would like to visit us.

Campus tours provide an overview of the campus but do not include a subject department visit or viewing inside accommodation. We also have self-guided and virtual tours available for each of our campuses. Our self-guided tours are great as you can take them at your own pace, and our amazing 360-degree virtual tours let you explore parts of the campus you might not get to otherwise see, such as right inside some of the accommodation we offer.
