Look beyond white coats and stethoscopes and discover the amazing wealth of lesser-known specialities, disciplines, and careers that make up the 'multi-disciplinary team' of UK healthcare. Putting healthcare roles such as Nursing and Medical Imagery at the forefront of your learning, this course will feature sessions based on the work, research, and practice of the University of Exeter’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, from undergraduate study to high-level specialism and beyond.

Session Two: Introduction to Medical Imaging and the Xray Lab

Session Three: Nursing – Discover Your Senses

  • Discover your sense, dementia themed, aging suits Nursing

Session Four: Physics Lab and Ultrasounds

  • Session and workshops focused on the theme of Physics with practical workshop/experiments as well practical session on ultrasound MI

This subject activity strand has contributions from the following degree programmes:

    • BSc Medical Imaging 
    • BSc Adult Nursing 
    • MSci Nursing

Students must have achieved grade C or 4 in both GCSE Maths and English Language.  

Priority will be given to students studying one or more of the following subjects at A Level or the equivalent qualification: 

Biology/Human Biology; Chemistry; Computing; Design and Technology; Electronics; Environmental Science; Environmental Studies; Geography; Geology; Maths/Pure Maths/Further Maths; Life and Health Sciences; Physical Education; Physics; Psychology; Science (applied); Statistics.

In order to pass the programme, you must attend a minimum of 5 out of 6 subject activity sessions, as well as the Exeter Scholars Student Conference.
