Psychology, Neuroscience, Medical and Sport & Health Sciences
In this new and exciting subject activity strand, you will have the opportunity to participate in taster sessions in Psychology, Public Health and Sport Science, Medical Sciences, and Neuroscience. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, this strand will allow you to explore diverse concepts and research areas that span across the human mind and body; allow you to engage in practical sessions that mimic the range of teaching delivery styles on our degree programmes, as well as provide insight into the wealth of degree and career options available to you.

Activity locations
All subject activity sessions will take place on both the University of Exeter St Luke's campus and the Streatham campus.
- Session 1: Introductory session (all disciplines), to include an introduction to the strand and departments; ice breakers and group activities; campus tour; student Life Q&A
- Session 2: Nutritional Physiology (Public Health and Sport Science) – exploring how nutrition and exercise shape our physiology
- Session 3: Psychology
- Session 4: Medical Sciences
- Session 5: Neuroscience
- Session 6: Carousel - ‘Approaching Addiction from Different Disciplinary Perspectives’
This subject activity strand has contributions from the following degree programmes:
- BSc Public Health and Sport Science
- BSc Medical Sciences
- BSc Neuroscience
- BSc Psychology
Priority will be given to students studying one or more of the following subjects at A Level or the equivalent qualification:
Biology and one other science subject.
In order to pass the programme, you must attend a minimum of 5 out of 6 subject activity sessions, as well as the Exeter Scholars Student Conference.
