How to make up time for any missed sessions
In order to pass the Exeter Scholars programme, participants need to meet the minimum time requirement, by attending a minimum number of sessions, events, and activities.
We understand that, for a variety of reasons, Exeter Scholars participants may not be able to attend all of the subject activity sessions on offer to them during the programme. For this reason, participants are able to make up the time missed by attending additional events, sessions, and activites run by the Exeter Scholars team and the University of Exeter more widely.
Please see below for instructions on how to make up any time missed and a list of available events.
Instructions for how to make up time
To make up the time for one Exeter Scholars subject activity session, you can attend either:
- ONE half- or full-day event, as specified in the drop-down list below, or
- TWO short or virtual events, as specified in the drop-down list below
To make up the time for two or more Exeter Scholars subject activity sessions, you can attend a combination of events to reach the correct total.
If you're unsure how much time you need to make up, please contact the Exeter Scholars team to check this at any time.
Once you have completed any event, please contact the Exeter Scholars team to confirm that you've attended an event. We will then verify your attendance and add it to your Exeter Scholars record.
