Which course should I apply to?

If you are not currently working within the mining industry, and are looking to develop knowledge and skills in mining and engineering, please apply through UCAS for our Full-time BEng Mining Engineering.

If you are currently working within the mining industry, our BEng Mining Engineering (Part-time). and Mine Management Degree Apprenticeship allow you to study while remaining employed and earning a salary. You will gain a degree and develop new knowledge, skills, and ideas that will enable you to add real change to your organisation, and lay the foundation for a prosperous and challenging career.

To apply, you should already have a position or job offer from a mining company that is willing to support your application.

If you meet the ESFA criteria for degree apprenticeship funding, please apply for the Mine Management Degree Apprenticeship

If you don’t meet these criteria, please apply for BEng Mining Engineering (Part-time).

All three courses culminate in a BEng degree in Mining Engineering.
