The Programme Design and Quality Enhancement (PDQE) Team offer expert guidance on the entire lifecycle of programme development, enhancement, and closure activities. Working closely with other services in the Learning Experiences and Innovation (LXI) Service, PDQE combines portfolio development and design with quality enhancement to deliver high quality, market-aligned, and efficient taught portfolios. The team work in partnership with Faculties to optimise the development, review, and revision of programmes and modules.

Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy

We provide support for core quality enhancement functions for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes and students in the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy. This includes: the approval and amendment of programmes and modules, internal student surveys, annual quality review of teaching, and policy development.

Programme Development

The Programme Design team works with key stakeholders to coordinate the processes of new programme creation, programme review and revision, and sunsetting. The team manages multiple development projects in support of the University’s key strategic objectives.

The Senior Programme Designer can co-ordinate proposers through the relevant processes for programme creation, offering expert guidance in shaping market-led, efficient and high-quality products.
