Events

The Centre runs a wide variety of events throughout the year. The events programme brings together colleagues from other academic institutions and private and public organisations to share and debate the latest leadership thinking and share insights into leadership practice.

Deadline to apply, 30 March 2022	Rising Star Award Each year the Exeter Centre for Leadership (ExCL) hosts a Rising Star Award in partnership with the Network of Leadership Scholars (NLS). The award recognizes a junior academic who is making a significant contribution to the field of leadership. The intention of the Rising Star Award is to help promote the work of highly promising junior scholars. A committee of judges chooses the successful candidate each year and the prize is awarded at the Annual Academy of Management (AOM) conference. The successful applicant will also be awarded £1500 to go towards supporting their research and will be invited to join the committee to judge applicants the following year. In 2021, Jackson Lu from Sloan School of Management, MIT was the winning candidate. Click HERE for details of eligibility and how to apply.
