International Welcome Programme - Exeter

Welcome to Exeter!

Our International Welcome Programme is a designed to welcome you to the university and to help you settle into your new life with us. You can’t miss us in our bright pink t-shirts.

Our in person social events must be booked in advance online. Bookings for our September 2024 International Welcome Programme will open for these events on 9 September. Please wait until you are in the UK or have a confirmed arrival date before booking your social event tickets. We do not hold a waiting list but if an event shows 'sold out' and you still want to come please come at the beginning of the event with the correct event fee in cash and we will re allocate any unclaimed tickets.

You do not need to book onto any of our tours or talks, please just come along. If we are restricted in numbers due to capacity it will be first come, first served basis.

Our Students Guild are running a series of Welcome events throughout the week to introduce you to what the Guild does, the student led societies and society taster events. For more information click here.

Jurassic Coast Cruise
Finish your Welcome Week with a 2.5 hour sea cruise along the beautiful Jurassic Coast, the South West's World Heritage Site. You will then spend some time in Exmouth before returning to the Streatham Campus.

Please note we will not keep a reserve list. If the event is sold out and you still want to come please come to Rennes Drive bus stop at 09.45am and make yourself known to the Welcome Team and bring £16 cash exactly. We will re allocate any unused seats at 10am. This will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Meet at Rennes Drive bus stop (EX4 4RJ) at 8.30am, coach departs at 8.45am.

One coach will also collect students from St Lukes campus main car park (EX1 2LU) at 8.55am. Return back to campus about 6.30pm.

Please indicate on your booking if you would like this collection point. 

Day trip: St Ives

Celebrate the end of week 1 with a day trip to the beautiful Cornish sea side town of St Ives. St Ives has three beautiful beaches, and the wonderful light has long drawn artists and tourists to it's windy streets and many cafes!

Please note we will not keep a reserve list. If the event is sold out and you still want to come please come to Rennes Drive bus stop at 08.30am and make yourself known to the Welcome Team and bring £11 cash exactly. We will re allocate any unused seats at 08.45am. This will be done on a first come, first served basis
